A few pictures taken at the Golden Jubilee of our school. I do not have all the pictures, however I did stumble across a few we had ordered of our class performances. Practices for these events went on for months on end. To me it seemed like the day would never come and I could not wait for the day when we would get it over with. When the day finally arrived, amidst anticipation, nervousness, pride and the excitement of having our families sitting in the audience, we all proudly did our part.
Few names that come to mind require our appreciation and acknowledgement
- Sister Rosetta for the practices which started more than 6 months in advance for the high mass which was served by the Arch Bishop.
- Mrs. Clara for the hours of practices for the entire outdoor events.
- Our class teachers for their contribution for the class wise performances.
- Sir Jude for his guitar skills and his interest in teaching us music.
- Of course our boarders and day scholars who all came together to make those days one which we all still remember.
I do not remember what we called this, but this was the sports day performance of our class. A lot of planning went into the costumes and the overall performance.
THE FIRE DRILL
WE ARE THE WORLD
This is to acknowledge Sir Jude for this performance. May not have been the original version but it sure was one of the best versions I heard and we were all proud to be a part of it.
THE CORRIDINHO
This was a dance performed by my mates. They had a professional come in to teach them to dance this piece.
